We recognize the complexity of the hospital billing process and various payment methods, and will gladly assist you in understanding our billing notices and in setting up payment arrangements. You may also obtain a detailed statement of charges upon request.

You might receive several different bills from one visit to Wayne HealthCare including a hospital bill and a physician bill.

Your hospital bill reflects your room rate, medication, medical supplies, and services performed by hospital personnel.

You may receive other bills for professional services provided by physicians, radiologists and other specialists. The physicians are not employees of Wayne HealthCare and will bill you separately for their services.

Wayne HealthCare strives to make the billing process as easy as possible. After your visit, we will bill your insurance and you will receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance provider explaining how much was paid on your account. Depending on the type of insurance you have, you may be billed the remaining balance.

We do accept most major insurance carriers, including United Healthcare. For questions about insurance coverage and specific plan products including Medicare, please contact your insurance carrier directly.

We strive to make sure you receive the full benefits of your insurance coverage and consideration under our financial assistance programs, if applicable.
