ED Paramedic - Full Time, 3rd Shift 0.9FTE
This full time position is primary to 3rd shift working 12 hour shifts with 36 hours per week. This position is required to work every third weekend and every other holiday. The position reports to the Director of Emergency Services.
Qualifications:
- Currently certified to practice in the State of Ohio
- Current BLS Certification required
- Previous critical care experience preferred
- ACLS and PALS certification preferred
Skill and Ability:
- Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under the current standards of paramedic practices
- Physically able to perform the functions of the position
- ACLS certification required within six months of transition/hire
- PALS certification required within one year of transition/hire
- Hazmat training required
- Cardiac arrhythmia interpretation course required within six months
- Maintains all required qualifications for area assigned
