Floor Care Specialist, Trash and Linen - Full-time, 2nd Shift

Position:

Although this position is primary to the second shift, the applicant will be scheduled as needed to clean the facility. This position reports to the Director of Support Services.

Qualifications:

• Previous Environmental Services experience desired.
• Previous floor care experience desired.
• Physically able to climb ladders
• Lift, push, pull and carry a weight of up to 75 lbs.
• Able to stand, kneel, bend, squat, crouch, and crawl

Responsibilities:

• Remove waste and soiled linens from all areas in the Hospital. Transport linens to soiled linen area and transport waste to dumpster.
• Remove biohazard waste to Bio room for removal.
• Remove dust, dirt, greasy film, and sanitize daily in patient rooms and patient areas.
• As per schedule clean vent hood over ovens in the kitchen.
• Wash walls, scrub/mop floors and sanitize daily, and sanitize all vertical and horizontal surfaces in surgery.
• Dusts, dry/wet mop, sanitize/disinfect floors. Vacuum, shampoo carpeting/rugs.
• All other duties as assigned.
