House Supervisor - RN - 3rd Shift, Full-Time
Position:
This position is for a full time- third shift, RN House Supervisor. The holiday requirement is every other holiday. The non-union position reports to the Lead House Supervisor and the VP of Patient Care Services.

Qualifications:
- Currently licensed and registered to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio
- Current ACLS and BLS required
- PALS required within one year
- Minimum of three years current experience as a staff nurse/charge nurse with demonstrated administrative and leadership abilities
- Multi unit experience preferred. MedSurg/Tele required. ICU, ED, and OB experience preferred
- Bachelor Degree required or a signed commitment to complete within four years
- Previous experience as backup House Supervisor preferred
Job Responsibilities
- Aware of the mission/vision/values of Wayne HealthCare and work to attain those at the level of responsibility held.
- Work to ensure all departments working are coordinated in effort and flow.
- Be knowledgeable in and follow all of the Nursing standards and procedures that guide and support the provision of services for the nursing department and the hospital
- Recommend a sufficient number of qualified and competent persons to provide care and treatment to patients here or those who may present
- Assess staffing levels every four hours and react to the staffing needs based on that assessment
- Continuously assess and improve the performance of care and services provided
- Understands the principles and steps of problem solving and acts as a resource to others in problem identification and resolution
- Immediately react and correct behaviors seen and/or reported that are unacceptable per policy
- Attend meetings as assigned by your supervisors
- Lead by example in all duties performed and behavior exhibited
- All other responsibilities as assigned
