Manager, Business Planning and Development, 1st Shift, Full-Time
The Business Planning and Development Manager is a full time position. The individual will be responsible for supporting, managing and implementing organizational growth. The Manager will develop strategic marketing/business plans for service lines in alignment with the business strategy. This position will support all aspects of business development and marketing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism required.

Five years hospital experience in business development and planning or
equivalent.
Strong writing and editing background required. - Three to five years experience in communications and /or marketing, preferably in HealthCare.
- Must understand and be knowledgeable in healthcare administration, marketing, physician relations and business analytics.
Skill and Ability:
- Identifying opportunities that support the strategic plan and enhance revenue through increased utilization of service lines and programs.
- Establish compelling value propositions and engage with consumers and physicians to increase market share and achieve positive return on investment
- Must be able to communicate at all levels, demonstrate commitment to teamwork, positive attitude and values of the organization.
- Develop strong business relationships that generate meeting opportunities and potential healthcare partners.
- Support creation and execution of implementation plans, in conjunction with working directly with the Vice President of Business Development for development of new services and programs.
- Actively utilize market information to guide business development efforts, analyze data as well as develop, execute and adjust business plans to align strategy and internal investments.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of healthcare trends, especially those pertaining to hospital medicine, population health, and post-acute care delivery.
- Drive integration and coordination among strategic planning, brand strategy, digital engagement and internal/external communications in support of organization objectives.
- Analyze key performance indicators on an ongoing basis to assess campaign effectiveness; continuously refining based on learning and identification of best
- Drive team performance to meet and exceed performance targets with accountability for achieving expected results and meeting service level agreements.
- Advanced analytical, planning, business development and problem-solving skills with a strong ability to conduct strategic analysis, inclusive of the development of financial models and internal/external research to support business decisions.
- Responsibility to lead and support managers and directors in developing and improving operations to create optimal performance levels.
- Excellent project management through clear communication, effective leadership and interpersonal skills including a high degree of comfort leading and interacting with diverse groups at varying levels of management (internal/external).
- Ability to conduct formal and informal presentations and to convey complex information fluently, in a professional, compliant, ethical and effective manner.
- Strong ability to organize and prioritize in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with success at simultaneously managing a variety of complex projects.
- Must be able to assume a high degree of independent functioning, demonstrating prudent decision making, autonomy and flexibility.
- Self-motivated individual with ability to independently judge, prioritize and accomplish major job duties and responsibilities.
- Printed material and nurture vendors’ relations to achieve timely, cost-effective outcomes.
