Monitor Tech - 2nd Shift, Part-Time, .8 FTE

Position:

The position will be 8 hour shifts working 3:00p to 11:30p with every other weekend. The individual will be cross trained to other areas of the facility as needed.

Qualifications

• Unit Clerk Experience preferred. Successful completion of unit clerk orientation required
• Successful completion of Basic Coronary Care
• ECG training preferred, must successfully complete in 6 months of hire
• CPR certification preferred, required within 6 months of hire
• Associates degree in related field preferred, previous hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for monitoring patient’s cardiac rhythm and reporting changes.
• Clerical/Monitor Tech is under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Manager and the House Supervisor.
• All other duties as assigned.
