Registered Nurse

Full-Time | 3rd Shift | Inpatient Med/Surg/Telemetry

This position is a 12-hour shift position working 7p-7a, 36 hours per week. Holiday and weekend hours are for 12-hour shifts (every other weekend and holiday and every third weekend and holiday positions available). The applicant will be cross-trained to other departments within the facility so they are able to float to the units.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio
• BSN preferred
• Current BLS Certification required
• Previous Med/Surg experience preferred
• Critical care experience preferred

Skill and Ability

• Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under the current standards of nursing practices
• Physically able to perform the functions of the position
• ACLS certification required within 6 months to one year of hire
• PALS certification required within one-two years of hire
• Maintains all required qualifications for area assigned
• Cardiac Arrhythmia Interpretation course required within one year of hire
• Experience with management of ventilators preferred
• Chemo/PICC lines experience preferred but not required
• All other duties as assigned
