April Events at Wayne HealthCare: Learn, Give Back, and Get Involved

April is shaping up to be a great month to connect with your health and your community. Wayne HealthCare is hosting several opportunities to learn something new, support a great cause, and take steps toward better health.

Here’s what’s coming up:

Support the Wayne HealthCare Foundation

Kick off the month by enjoying a meal that gives back. On Wednesday, April 1, dine in or carry out from Buffalo Wild Wings between 4:00–9:00 pm and a portion of your purchase will benefit the Wayne HealthCare Foundation. It’s an easy way to support local healthcare while enjoying a night out.

Diabetes Wellness Program: Move More, Manage Better

Staying active plays a key role in managing blood sugar, and this session will help you better understand how.

Join us on Tuesday, April 14 from 12:00–1:00 pm for a free program offered both in-person and virtually. You’ll hear from clinical experts about how exercise can support better diabetes management and overall wellness.

Healthy Moments: Innovation in Orthopedic Care

Curious how technology is changing the way orthopedic care is delivered? This free Healthy Moments event will explore how advancements like AI are improving diagnosis, surgery, and recovery.

Join us on Tuesday, April 21 for a complimentary meal at 5:30 pm followed by the presentation at 6:00 pm. Space is limited, so early RSVP is encouraged.

Community Blood Drive

Make a direct impact in someone’s life by donating blood.

Our community blood drive will take place on Wednesday, April 22 from 8:00 am–2:00 pm. Every donation helps patients in need, and donors will receive a free shirt while supplies last.
