Cardiac Rehabilitation
The Cardiac Rehabilitation program offers an individualized treatment plan to assist patients with managing symptoms of heart disease, decrease the chance of additional heart attacks, and improve endurance and strength to regain the ability and continue a healthy lifestyle.
Benefits of Cardiac Rehabilitation:
- Evaluation and instruction of physical activity
- Personalized exercise program that is monitored and supervised during Phase II of cardiac rehabilitation
- Education and support to help you make healthy lifestyle changes such as healthy eating, avoiding tobacco and maintaining a healthy weight
- Blood pressure and cardiac monitoring
- Interaction and support of other participants
Continuing your exercise program is easy during Phase III of cardiac rehabilitation. However most health insurance plans do not cover this service.
Eligible patients must have at least one of the following diagnoses:
- Heart Attack
- Angina
- Coronary artery angioplasty or stents
- Open heart surgery such as bypass of valve surgery
- Heart transplantation
- Heart failure
- Peripheral artery disease

Pulmonary Rehabilitation
The Pulmonary Rehabilitation program focuses on improving the quality of life and activity levels for patients with pulmonary problems such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
As a medical facility, it is important to provide a continuum of care for our patients. Physicians, respiratory therapist, and the medical director collaborate to develop individualized treatment plans. Patient education and support is provided to enable patients to cope, live with, and control the symptoms of chronic lung disease.
