AED Program

The Wayne HealthCare Foundation is proud to partner with Midmark Corporation and Spirit Medical Transport to provide Automated External Defibrillators to help save lives in our community. An AED can be used in a cardiac emergency to provide life-sustaining help to the victim until emergency personnel arrive.

AEDs are available through an application process for 501c3 nonprofits by contacting Lauren Henry at the Wayne HealthCare Foundation at (937) 569-6408. Special thanks to Midmark Corporation for being the lead corporate donor for this program, Spirit Medical Transport for providing CPR and AED training to those facilities involved with the AED program, as well as the Rotary Club of Greenville.

AED Application

Wayne HealthCare Foundation would also like to thank the many individuals and organizations that support the Foundation, which helps further the philanthropic efforts to support Wayne HealthCare and our community with patient-centered care, exceedingly well.

AED Maintenance Program

It is important to keep an AED in good working order so it will always be ready in case of an emergency. All AED's come with an 8 year warranty, the batteries have a 4 year warranty and the pads have a 2 year warranty. After the warranties expire non-profits can contact the Wayne HealthCare Foundation to register for the AED Maintenance Program.

For maintenance assistance while the AED is under warranty contact Philips at (800) 263-3342.

For maintenance assistance after the warranty has expired contact the Foundation at (937) 569-6408.
